Kailyn Lowry Doctor Explains Why Not Vaccinating Her Son Is A Danger To Him And Other Kids After

While Kailyn Lowry defended her decision not to vaccinate her youngest son, Lux, saying a parent knows what’s best for their children, it turns out that they definitely don’t – or at least those who are not doctors don’t! Speaking of, one medical specialist talked to HollywoodLife, sharing with the outlet that the Teen Mom star and others like her are actually putting not only their own kids but also other children in danger as well!

Dr. Arielle Ornstein, from Northeast Medical Group Pediatrics in Rye Brook, NY made it very clear that skipping vaccination can have devastating results since the child and others who come in contact could become very sick.

‘Kids need to receive their vaccinations in order to prevent them from contracting serious illnesses. The diseases that are targeted with our routine vaccinations for children can cause serious health consequences, lifetime disability and even death. Unvaccinated children are at risk of contracting serious diseases that could otherwise be preventable.’

Dr. Ornstein went on to explain that ‘For children who do not receive their vaccines, they are vulnerable to a number of illnesses. These illnesses such as pertussis or whooping cough, tetanus, pneumococcal disease, polio or measles can be deadly. Additionally, unvaccinated children may expose siblings, friends and other children that cannot be vaccinated.’

The shots that young ones before the age of 2 receive work with the body’s natural defense system, reducing the risk of infection.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) state that ‘the vaccine helps develop immunity to many diseases in a safe way.’

Unfortunately, however, in the last few years, the number of parents choosing not to vaccinate their children has grown alarmingly.

It all started from reports that the shots may actually cause more damage than good due to a belief that they cause autism and other scary diseases.

However, the record-breaking number of diseases in unvaccinated kids proves the contrary.
